There has been discussions to get new TET route that would go more near west coast that current west trail. that is basically going middle of Finland. Once I received first draft was thinking to make it better and remove some paved roads from that.
In the end I got some help from my friend who lives in Raahe and had explored many really great trails from there to towards Oulu. So First route was ready couple months ago and is mark as blue in this image.

As this was holding quite much soft sand and might be difficult for bigger bikes or if you are travelling with two in same bike there was discussions to get other route that is bit easier.
So we generated new route that also separates in Piehinki and goes to Tyrnävä and joins TET route there. This new Route is mark in map in with purple color.
I was driving this route week ago and here are some images and video from that route.

If you are interested to drive these trails drop a message and I can share gpx file. Now there is nice around 250km loop that is ideal for day trip from any point from loop area.
